Why the red circle

In Japan, a teacher's red maru beside an answer means correct. It is the most reassuring mark a student can see. Maru grades your photo the same way, so you know it's right before you submit.

    Every rule comes from the government or exam body that sets it, with the exact sentence quoted and linked. Never from other photo sites.
